| My grandparents, aunts, and other relatives on my father’s side perished in the Holocaust. Creating the painting The Holocaust was not an easy task for me. Revisiting that pain was deeply difficult, but I chose to honor, through my art, all the lives that were lost. I take comfort in believing that I am not short of angels in Heaven. |
