The novel The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown became the spark for my painting The Wandering Mary Magdalene. I was captivated by the idea that Jesus and Mary Magdalene might have shared a child—a symbol of love continuing beyond earthly boundaries. This thought transforms their story into something deeper, where the divine and the human intertwine, and creation itself becomes an act of sacred union.
In this vision, the child is not only a symbol of life but of spiritual continuity—an eternal thread weaving faith, love, and mystery together. |
