| As a father of three children, I have always had a hard time understanding how readily Abraham obeyed God’s command to sacrifice his son Isaac. The story always gave me goosebumps. I am grateful that God only tested Abraham and ultimately spared Isaac’s life. The painting Abraham and Isaac is about the love between a father and a son. |
